What is a Laser Tag Game?

A Laser tag game is a hi-tech version of tag. Players wear a bodysuit and carry a phaser. Players enter a purpose built gaming environment (or Laser Tag Arena) and score points for themselves and their team by tagging their opponents and targets (GEMs).
Lase tag games can be Solo (Everyone for themselves) or Team based. A Laser tag game can vary in complexity from the basic ‘Tag them and get a score’ to ‘navigate the labyrinth, slay the beast and recover the lost treasure’.
At the end of the laser tag game, players receive an individual scoresheet which details how they performed.

DarkLight Laser Tag Equipment

The DarkLight laser tag game system uses a visible laser, an invisible infra-red beam and radio to transmit information between Players, GEMs and the game computer. Players get real-time scoring and instant feedback in the form of messages on the LCD and digital sounds from the pack. Each pack can be on any team (usually Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Teams) and in certain laser tag games, players can even switch teams while playing!
The DarkLight laser tag equipment is durable and reliable, reducing maintenance costs and lost revenue due to faulty laser tag equipment. The DarkLight laser tag equipment includes an intelligent charging system; Whenever a laser tag pack is returned to it's rack it will start to charge automatically, without the need to connect cables or remove batteries.

The DarkLight Laser Tag Game

The DarkLight laser tag game system can provide a myriad of different laser tag game type. The Basic games are easy and intuitive so that a beginner can pick up the idea quickly. Team and Solo Basic games will probably be played 90% of the time, with players always getting a positive score.
More complex laserr tag games can be introduced to regular players to keep the game fresh and guarantee repeat visits by your customers.Regukar laser tag players can get a Membership, allowing the PC to track their laser tag game stats.
Laser tag games such as Defector (Where players change team during the game), Bulldog (Where players try to remain the last player on a certain team), Level games (Where GEMs must be tagged in the correct order) and Aquisition games (Once a GEM is won, it can only be used by that team) all add to the game types available for regular players.
Highlander is one of the most complex laser tag games, including stealing credits, progressing through the levels - changing colours and finally gaining Electroblaster which will take other players out of the game with 1 shot!
